Family oriented martial arts school

Hawaii Kenpo Karate, llc is a local martial arts school located in Honolulu, Hawaii. We teach various styles of martial arts. We focus on being a family oriented school. We have various programs to offer each individual. We teach a little of everything, from Karate, Mix Martial Arts, Judo, Jujitsu, Kenpo, Tae kwon do, Boxing, Weight lifting, cardio workouts, physical stretching.

 

 

Note:  We are currently looking for students who are willing to commit long term and be a part of our martial arts family. If you are not sure or not willing to commit, there are a lot of other martial arts school you can attend.

Hawaii Kenpo Karate, LLC focuses on self discipline and joining mind and body as one. We are a family oriented school and NOT a fight club. We train hard and try to have fun doing it. Students will start at the beginning level (white belt), progressing to black belt. Our main system is Kenpo Karate, and we are also teaching Kajukenbo in a combined class. Our type of martial arts was put together for practical street fighting. So our focus is teaching street fighting and traditional marital arts techniques.

Students will be learning blocks, punches, kicks, combinations, Grab arts, ground work, Kata’s and more! Body conditioning along with Fist(knuckle) training is a must. As students progress, promotion will depend on the students attention, ability and participation. It get’s harder as a student progresses and defining the techniques will be required more to move further up in the ranks.
As well as learning how to fight, we also teach all students to be respectful, to have discipline, to focus, when to use and when not to use what you learn.

Children – We are always open to accept youths who are looking to learn self defense. We will try our best to bring out your child’s best abilities in our system. When your child achieves the rank of black, be assured he/she will be a well rounded person. Accepting Ages 6 to Adult. Any younger age will have to be discussed with the instructor.

Our ranking is given under our Kenpo Karate, since this is our own system.

Note: No lower belt ranking will be given under kajukenbo. If you achieve an black belt rank, you will be inputted into the Kajukenbo Family tree.

Regular Classes (Class may switch back to 2 hours classes if needed)
Mondays and Thursdays
5:00pm to 6:00 pm
Ages 7 to adult
50.00 a Month Regular Class

NOTE:
*  If you (adult) or your child is willing to commit and not quit, then give us a call. You are welcome to try the classes out for 2 weeks and you can decide from there.

* Class are currently more kids, but adults are wlecome to join. It is a slower pace and not really too much of the rough training, unless there are more adults and harder training is rquired.

* If you are window shopping or looking for the rough traning or looking how to just fight,  then I suggest lookling at other schools. There are tons of other schools to choose from. We are a family oriented school, also we teach more street self defense and not ring fighting.

Regular Classes (7 to adult combined)
This class, students learns our main parts of our system (not our full system), but enough to reach black belt if they make it there. Since classes are 1 hour, learing is at a slower pace.

Our (full system) regular class is not currently offered and it requires more class time.

Students will have to purchase a black karate uniform with a white belt, and protective gear.
