Sifu Burgess Kaneko
Chief Instructor and Founder of Hawaii Kenpo Karate, llc (HKK)
I have studied Tae kwon do/Hapkido in the 1980’s under Master Glenn Uesugi whom was my first instructor and obtained my 1st Dan.
I am currently teaching Kenpo Karate System and Kajukenbo system, (from Grandmaster Edmund Louis of Leeward Kenpo Karate). Both are Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for street self defense.
My mission is to have a school to where a student looks forward to coming class and having a family oriented environment. By having an atmosphere like this, I feel it helps those who are looking to learn martial arts and obtaining their goals in the self defense area.
